Meet your EDCwiml team

Office staff and new hires will be added shortly

Steven Lang
Course Director
Class 5: Practical [automatic, manual transmission], Theoretical
Class 6: Practical, Theoretical

Steven bought the driving school in hopes of bringing something new to the industry. For Steven, it is more than just showing up for driving school. He wanted to create an experience for them that they can carry with them for years to come.

It's never just theory, it is learning the required skill set and having a solid foundation of what it really means to drive a car. Although we are in Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue, Steven ensures that every student has experiences in various locations that range as far as Hudson, to Rockland, Montreal (downtown), and the South Shore, and all the cities in between. He did this because he cares about the success of students and wants them to be ready for all types of driving conditions, in any city.

When building his team, he ensured that all of his instructors have the same beliefs and values to ensure the success of EDCwiml Students.

Candice Ayotte
Assistant Course Director
Certificates: Class 5, Practical [automatic], Theoretical

Candice joined the driving school in January 2019. In late 2019, she took some time off to work on some projects and returned to WIML shortly after the pandemic started. Having realized that the pandemic caused a huge constraint in the scheduling system, she reached out to us offering to come back full-time as an instructor to help in the process.

Since June 2021, she has taken on more of an operational role and manages the daily operational needs. She currently spends her time continuously building a solid foundation to streamline services for our students.

The hard work and long hours that she put in got her the position of Assistant Course Director. She will be in charge of the day-to-day operations of the driving school.

In her role, she will be responsible for the continuous training of instructors and support staff to ensure that all students' needs exceed expectations.

Sylvia Lang
Course Instructor, English/German
Certificates: Class 5, Practical [automatic], Theoretical

Sylvia has been with us since 2016. She started off as a Support Staff member on our team. Seeing the demand increase at the driving school, she decided to step forward and offer to teach students how to drive. As a career professional driver, this was an amazing opportunity for students to learn the ropes from someone who has seen it all.

In 2019, Sylvia took a quick break to work on other projects and enjoy a little bit of her retirement. After a bit of a break, she returned to help students be the best that they can be.

As a bilingual instructor, English and German, she is a huge fan favorite for our AVH Students who get to learn how to drive a car speaking in German.

Sylvia is a highly requested instructor, so get your appointments in early.

Nabil Rifai, aka "Billy"
Course Instructor, English/French
Certificates: Class 5, Practical [automatic, manual transmission], Theoretical

Nabil, aka "Billy" is a newbie to the team, although he most certainly is not a newbie to teaching. Billy comes to us with over 15 years of experience teaching at driving schools.

He has shown his dedication and passion to students from day one. With our objectives lined up to ensure our goals are met, we knew that he would be a great fit for our team. He brings new ideas to the table every day to ensure the best for our students.
